Margret Ene Mgbudom, a 37-year-old Nigerian woman, found herself in hot water when she was brought before a Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Navsari, India. Her crime? Drug trafficking. According to reports, Gujarat’s State Monitoring Cell (SMC) nabbed her with a stash of 149.51 grams of cocaine.
The Confession: ‘Elder’ in Nigeria
During questioning, Mgbudom reportedly confessed that the drugs belonged to someone named “Elder” back in Nigeria. She claimed she received the drugs from an individual named Emmanuel in Mumbai and was tasked with delivering them to someone in Surat. She even hired a car to make the trip!
