Ex-Rivers HoS Under Fire! Kinsmen Demand Probe – Shocking Allegations!

The Etche community is calling for a full investigation into their own former Head of Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, over serious allegations. Is there more than meets the eye in this Rivers State drama?

  • The Accusation: Kinsmen are suspicious of the ex-HoS.
  • The Allegations: Involvement in spreading false information.
  • The Call: Security agencies urged to investigate.

Etche Community Demands Investigation into Ex-Rivers HoS

The Etche ethnic nationality in Rivers State, the very hometown of the former Head of Service (HoS), Dr. George Nwaeke, is demanding a thorough investigation by security agencies. They are deeply concerned about recent events and want to clear their name from any association with what they deem as uncharacteristic behavior.

Who is Dr. George Nwaeke?

Dr. George Nwaeke is a former Head of Service in Rivers State. The Head of Service is usually the highest-ranking civil servant in a state, overseeing the administration and operations of the government’s workforce. He recently made headlines after a video surfaced of him making some serious accusations.

‘A Liar and a Betrayer’? Community Leaders Speak Out

Community leaders didn’t hold back. They described Nwaeke in harsh terms, calling him “a liar, betrayer and notoriously untrustworthy.” They even stated that he is often excluded from important community meetings due to his perceived instability.

What are the Allegations Against Governor Fubara?

Nwaeke accused the suspended governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, of financial mismanagement and even planning militant attacks on oil facilities! These are serious claims that have sent shockwaves through the state. He also alleged that Governor Fubara deliberately destroyed the Rivers State House of Assembly to avoid impeachment and paid the former Chief of Staff, Dr. Edison Ehie, to carry out the operations.

Etche Community Distances Itself

The Etche leaders are adamant that these accusations do not reflect their values or culture. They are publicly disassociating themselves from Nwaeke’s statements, which they believe are “externally influenced.”

Financial Gain Motive?

The community leaders suggest that Nwaeke’s actions are driven by a desire for personal financial gain. They claim he even approached the Chief of Staff for financial assistance in exchange for his loyalty. This paints a picture of a man motivated by greed, willing to do anything for money.

Coerced or Genuine? The Community’s Suspicion

The Etche people believe Nwaeke was forced to read a script written by others in Abuja, designed to falsely implicate the governor. They emphasize the apparent contradiction between Nwaeke’s words and his wife’s account of his trip to Abuja, raising serious doubts about his credibility. They claim he was commanded: “You will read from the text I wrote.”

Call for Investigation

The Etche community is now urging security agencies to step in and investigate Nwaeke thoroughly. They want him held accountable for spreading what they believe is false information against the Governor of Rivers State and other prominent figures. They hope this will serve as a warning to others who might be tempted to spread lies for personal gain. They see this as something that will protect the integrity of the people and the government.

State of Emergency Condemned

In addition to the Nwaeke situation, the Etche ethnic group has also condemned the imposition of a State of Emergency in Rivers State, as well as the suspension of the governor, deputy governor, and members of the Rivers State House of Assembly. They are calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider his decision in the best interest of the state.
