The Lake Chad Climate Justice Fellowship, funded by the Climate Justice Resilience Fund (CJRF) and implemented by DEAN Initiative, is a beacon of hope. The fellowship is focused on training and supporting at least 20 young climate activists from Nigeria, Chad, Niger, and Cameroon. The goal? To equip them with the skills and resources they need to address the challenges facing the Lake Chad Basin.

By empowering young people, the Fellowship aims to break down barriers and ensure they are seen as “architects of change,” not just beneficiaries.
